You may want to copy PS_HOME for many reasons:
- Loading PeopleSoft onto another machine
- Creating a copy for a new version of Peoplesoft
Putting together some thoughts on the copying of PS_HOME:
Using $PS_CFG_HOME
This makes life alot easier as it takes appserver and process scheduler config away from the standard PS_HOME. I would recommend recreating your App Server and Process Scheduler domains after the copy as this will reset items such as psappsrv.env for you.
